Has anyone tried to fit a VNT15 or other VNT turbo on a 1.6TD in the T3?
I'm investigating the possibility to have a more consistent boost profile over the entire RPM range. I currently use the stock K14 with a liquid intercooler and the Oetinger mods.
Not sure about VNT control either, electronic or manual?

Re: VNT15 on T3 with JX 1.6TD
Here we have some mtdi experts who made passive, pressure driven actuator systems for VNT. These VE TDI engines were used in al kind of racing vehicles 10-15 years ago.
But IMO in the T3 with the really short factory gearbox ratios there is no need to have a VNT.
The factory K14 boost starts at relative low rpms but the OE wastegate pressure seems a bit low - you can rise the boost to around 1.2bar (not with the oetringer style boost leak, but with some boost regulator system like on the R5 tdis) and that is kind of a sweet range.
